Lead the Control Planes and Ecosystem engineering organization, overseeing managers and multiple teams. Define strategy for Crossplane, enterprise control planes, Marketplace, providers, extensions, and partner integrations. Drive architecture, scalability, reliability, ecosystem growth, roadmap execution, production excellence, and cross-functional alignment with Product, GTM, Alliances, and Customer Success.

Own go-to-market for Upbound’s AI inference portfolio, including positioning, messaging, competitive strategy, launches, enterprise buyer research, sales enablement, pricing input, and open-source-to-commercial narratives. The role requires customer-facing thought leadership through analyst briefings, executive preparation, public speaking, podcasts, and community engagement. Success requires deep B2B infrastructure product marketing experience, technical fluency, open-core experience, and the ability to launch emerging products rapidly.

Own Upbound’s end-to-end growth funnel, including campaign strategy, budget, paid media, lifecycle marketing, marketing operations, attribution, SEO, AI answer visibility, and self-serve conversion. Build an AI-native growth function, adopt automation tools, develop agentic workflows, improve reporting and campaign velocity, manage agencies and vendors, and hire a growth team. Partner with sales, product, engineering, and marketing leadership to drive enterprise and product-led growth.
