The Senior Accountant will manage financial accounting and reporting for international student-focused colleges, including month-end close, management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, revenue recognition, audits, tax compliance, and financial controls. The role also provides day-to-day leadership to a transactional finance team and improves reporting and processes through automation and continuous improvement.

Coordinate VET compliance and quality assurance across two registered training organisations. Maintain policies, procedures, documentation, version control and compliance systems; monitor regulatory and funding changes; support audits, validation, moderation and reporting; track risks and improvement actions; and provide practical compliance guidance to teams handling complex student matters.

Coordinate accommodation for international students, including homestays, designated caregivers, Under 18 holiday plans, accommodation changes, enquiries, invoices, payments and compliance records. Liaise with students, families, agents, providers and internal teams to resolve issues and support student welfare. Participate in a rotating roster providing after-hours emergency phone support.
