Supports third-party enrollment technology implementations, case management, issue resolution, data exchange, testing, reporting, and system enhancements. Serves as a technical resource for internal teams, customers, and enrollment technology vendors; manages complex cases, escalations, tracking, and cross-functional initiatives. Requires strong project coordination, communication, analytical problem-solving, database and data manipulation skills, and knowledge of enrollment technology platforms and processes.

Leads Unum’s corporate tax function, including federal and state income tax accounting, forecasting, compliance, tax planning, audits, controls, and technology strategy. Manages and develops tax staff, partners with finance and business leaders, interprets tax legislation, supports US GAAP and statutory reporting, identifies tax optimization opportunities, and advises executives, auditors, and regulators on complex tax matters.

Applies data science, statistical analysis, machine learning, and automation to structured and unstructured data. Integrates data from DB2, SQL Server, Web APIs, and Teradata; creates modeling-ready datasets; builds predictive models; conducts experiments and trend analyses; and communicates actionable insights to business stakeholders. Partners with BI Analysts and Data Engineers to support data-driven customer experience and business decisions.
