Leads the design, implementation, analysis, and management of sales compensation and incentive plans for Colonial Life’s independent agents and employee sales teams. Owns sales planning and projection processes, develops compensation tools and financing programs, supports distribution strategy and performance management, analyzes incentive programs, resolves compensation conflicts, and advises senior sales leadership. The role also provides training and cross-functional guidance while managing compensation programs affecting thousands of agents and substantial annual payments.

Learns to evaluate and resolve complex disability benefit claims under formal mentorship. Responsibilities include managing caseloads, interpreting policy contracts and regulations, making fair eligibility and liability decisions, documenting claim determinations, communicating with customers, validating ongoing claims, supporting return-to-work strategies, and meeting service and quality standards. The role requires analytical judgment, customer service, strong communication, mathematical aptitude, multitasking, and effective collaboration.
