Manages pre- and post-award sponsored research activities, including proposal development, budget preparation, account setup, expenditure monitoring, fund projections, compliance, salary grids, and effort reporting. Advises principal investigators on financial matters and handles complex federal grants, training grants, clinical research projects, program projects, and subcontracts. Requires NIH and federal grant experience, Uniform Guidance knowledge, financial analysis, and strong organizational and communication skills.

Supports Penn Engineering’s corporate engagement initiatives by managing relationships with industry partners, facilitating connections among companies, faculty, students, and programs, coordinating meetings, campus visits, events, and workshops, maintaining CRM records, tracking engagement metrics, preparing reports, and supporting research collaboration, talent pipelines, educational partnerships, and strategic initiatives.
