Assists with athletic communications, media relations, sports information, statistics, publications, website content, social media, and event coverage. Writes game previews, recaps, feature stories, bios, and news releases; maintains records, archives, and statistical databases; coordinates with coaches, media, conference offices, and the NCAA; supports promotions, awards, gameday staffing, and basketball events. The role requires evening, weekend, holiday work and some travel.

Manages communications and content for assigned Division I athletic teams, including game previews, recaps, feature stories, biographies, news releases, statistics, records, social media, graphics, video, and media relations. Maintains archives and historical research, supports awards promotion, coordinates NCAA and conference requests, assists with communications planning and gameday staffing, and collaborates with coaches, university marketing staff, and media outlets.

Administers and supports Slate CRM environments for undergraduate, graduate, and certificate enrollment operations. Monitors data movement across Slate, Axiom Elite, Ellucian Banner, and third-party integrations; investigates errors, anomalies, fraud, and data-quality issues; and performs reconciliation using SQL, Tableau, and reporting tools. Develops or recommends improvements to validation controls, integrations, and automated monitoring. Provides technical support, translates business requirements, protects confidential records under FERPA, and collaborates with university stakeholders.
