Lead research developing interpretable AI-for-science methods for quantum computing. Responsibilities include designing research software and experiments, evaluating AI-assisted scientific work, conducting failure analysis, collaborating with quantum researchers, publishing findings, releasing research artefacts, coordinating technical work, supporting junior researchers, and contributing to future proposals.

Supports the Research Accountant by preparing detailed financial award reconciliations for legacy research grants, helping resolve ledger issues, complete financial closure, and implement remedial actions. The role requires analyzing financial problems, identifying root causes, and collaborating with research and professional services colleagues. It is an 18-month, full-time position with hybrid working opportunities at the University of Edinburgh.

Provides financial administration and reporting for funded research projects, monitors budgets, advises Principal Investigators on funder terms and conditions, and organizes research events. The role requires strong numeracy, accuracy, communication, organization, customer service, and prioritization skills. It is a full-time, 36-month fixed-term position with at least three days per week on campus.
