Leads proposal development services for faculty and research teams, including grantsmanship, proposal strategy, interdisciplinary proposal coordination, editing, review, templates, graphics, training, researcher resources, reporting, and continuous improvement. Supports complex federal and multi-institutional proposals while developing workflows, communications, and institutional resources that strengthen research competitiveness.

Leads defense innovation projects involving government, industry, academia, and entrepreneurs. Responsibilities include stakeholder engagement, scope and resource management, budgeting, scheduling, vendor oversight, team coordination, project documentation, and closure. Also manages approved social media and email campaigns using HubSpot, analyzes engagement metrics, and supports strategic communications. The role requires cross-functional collaboration, performance tracking, briefing preparation, and compliance with potential federal security requirements.

Build and manage NCTI’s national mentor, investor, laboratory, industry, corporate, and entrepreneurial-support networks. Establish partnerships, referral pathways, and collaboration agreements that help technology startups commercialize and grow. Maintain partner records in the CRM, coordinate Partner Council activities, support investor showcases and cohort events, track introductions, and monitor partner performance. The role requires extensive relationship building across investors, government agencies, research organizations, national laboratories, and innovation ecosystems, along with regular domestic travel.
