Lead and grow on-campus and off-site innovation labs; provide hands-on technical mentorship to student builders; oversee lab operations, safety, tooling, and project pipelines; run workshops and classes; develop new programs, partnerships, and facilities; drive prototypes from idea to working systems and support fundraising and external collaborations.

The Applied Engineering Lead will oversee the development and operation of a new engineering laboratory, mentor students, and liaise with industry partners for curriculum relevance.

Lead end-to-end planning and execution of university events—from small donor salons to large conferences. Manage vendors, budgets, logistics, run-of-show documents, guest experience, and on-site operations. Coordinate cross-functionally, ensure compliance with safety and venue requirements, capture post-event lessons, and work evenings/weekends with occasional travel (≈10–20%).
