Conduct externally funded artificial intelligence research, publish scholarly work, teach undergraduate and graduate courses, mentor students, develop AI curriculum, and contribute to departmental, university, and professional service.

Manage and operate the university's central research computing infrastructure including supercomputing clusters, scalable storage, and research software. Install, configure, and tune hardware, storage, networking, job schedulers (SLURM), containers, and research applications; diagnose/resolving issues; advise and assist faculty and researchers; support secure enclave and Google Cloud; and contribute to grant proposals and technical documentation.

Supports Louisville Athletics revenue generation through major gifts, corporate partnerships, NIL fundraising, philanthropic giving, premium seating sales, and donor engagement. Responsibilities include managing donor and partner portfolios, cultivating and soliciting gifts, securing premium seating commitments, stewarding relationships, meeting fundraising goals, and supporting special events and initiatives. Local travel and occasional overnight out-of-state travel may be required.
