Provides direct pediatric patient care by assessing conditions, developing and implementing care plans, administering interventions, evaluating outcomes, educating patients and families, and supporting discharge planning. Collaborates with interdisciplinary care teams, coordinates team members, promotes patient safety, prevents falls and skin breakdown, mobilizes patients, and documents care according to nursing, regulatory, and hospital standards.

Provides comprehensive nursing care for assigned MICU patients by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating treatment. Responsibilities include patient education, discharge planning, safety measures, mobilization, fall and skin-breakdown prevention, documentation, and collaboration with interdisciplinary care teams. Requires New Jersey RN licensure, BLS and ACLS certification, and completion of progressive and critical care training or certifications.

Oversees neurophysiology laboratory personnel, technical operations, clerical workflows, training, testing requests, equipment configuration, and diagnostic quality standards. Advises physicians on EEG, video EEG, TCD, EP, and NCS/EMG protocols; performs or assists with procedures and reviews results for interpretation. Provides advanced neurophysiology care to patients of all ages, from newborns through older adults.
