Teams at University Hospital

Provides consultative and operational HR support to assigned hospital departments, advising leaders and employees on labor relations, employee relations, benefits, compensation, performance management, investigations, policy interpretation, compliance, grievances, and career development. Partners with leadership, labor relations, legal, and HR teams to resolve issues, improve retention and satisfaction, identify training needs, and support organizational development.

Coordinates departmental projects, communications, records, media events, marketing materials, website updates, reports, and cross-functional administrative relationships. The role monitors news and media coverage, supports newsletters and presentations, maintains databases and files, tracks timelines, and assists the Strategic Communications and External Relations team with internal and external communications activities.

Educates and develops healthcare staff competencies through teaching, consultation, research, facilitation, and administration. Promotes safe, effective, evidence-based, patient- and family-centered care while supporting compliance with nursing, accreditation, patient safety, and health department standards. Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to improve care delivery and staff performance.
