Teams at Universal Avionics

Lead mechanical design and testing of electronic/opto-mechanical systems using PTC Creo. Perform thermal and structural FEA, prototype validation, environmental qualification support, sustainment engineering, and CAD data management in aerospace-regulated environments.

Lead cross-functional engineering teams to plan, execute, and deliver AI-enabled avionics products from proposal through certification and production. Manage schedules, budgets, risk, compliance (export controls), and technical scope while reporting status to program management and senior leadership.

Responsible for procurement activities, managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and addressing supply chain challenges in aerospace manufacturing.
