Manage a broad HR generalist function, including employee relations, workplace investigations, performance management, compliance, recruiting, onboarding, benefits, payroll, training, policy development, and employee records. Partner with managers on sensitive workplace matters, interpret New York and federal employment laws, coach leaders, improve HR processes, and support agency-wide initiatives. The role requires onsite capability with hybrid flexibility and occasional travel to organizational events and locations.

Supports the Finance Department through document filing, data entry, contract billing documentation, accounting system reporting, and month-end and year-end record maintenance. Coordinates finance-related communications, assists with audits and grant reporting, handles confidential information, and supports general administrative projects. Requires strong organization, accuracy, communication, confidentiality, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
