Chief Engineer responsible for safe and efficient operation of industrial refrigeration, material handling equipment, facility infrastructure, and grounds. Supervises maintenance personnel and contractors, manages facility projects and repair budgets, oversees regulatory and safety compliance training, and participates in emergency response. The role requires 24/7 on-call availability, strong industrial refrigeration and mechanical knowledge, familiarity with OSHA and EPA programs, and the ability to work in cold warehouse environments while handling physically demanding tasks.

Develop and deploy statistical, machine learning, forecasting, and optimization models for logistics and warehouse operations. Analyze large datasets from warehouse, transportation, ERP, and operational systems using Python and SQL. Build production-grade analytical solutions, validate and monitor model performance, and communicate insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Apply data science to routing, network and warehouse optimization, demand forecasting, anomaly detection, capacity planning, and segmentation.

Supervises industrial engineering activities for warehouse operations, including developing labor standards, maintaining labor management system data, conducting work measurement studies, improving distribution processes, and managing training compliance. Leads continuous improvement projects, facility layout recommendations, quality investigations, incentive audits, metrics development, budgeting, ROI analysis, and process-change implementation. Presents solutions to management and trains employees on work methods and labor standards.
