United Space Alliance is a leader in space operations with extensive experience in all aspects of maintenance and operation of multipurpose space systems. Headquartered in Houston, USA had more than 10,000 employees working in Texas and Florida. Formed in 1996 to consolidate more than 30 heritage contracts supporting the Space Shuttle Program, our successes include our work on the Space Flight Operations Contract and the Space Program Operations Contract. For more than 15 years under these contracts, USA served as NASA's primary industry partner in human space operations for the day-to-day management of the Space Shuttle fleet and planning, training and operations for 55 Space Shuttle missionsand more than 35 International Space Station (ISS) increments . USA received NASA's highest honor for quality and performance - the 2009 George M. Low Award and the prestigious 2009 Robert J. Collier Trophy from the National Aeronautic Association for our work on the International Space Station Team.
