Design, develop, test and maintain electronic cards, PCBs and control/instrumentation systems. Lead small-to-medium work packages, develop embedded firmware/FPGA code, provide on-plant technical support, perform low/high-voltage testing, produce documentation, supervise staff, and ensure compliance with safety and quality procedures.

Lead and deliver a risk-based internal audit strategy across the Group, provide independent assurance to senior stakeholders and the Board, strengthen controls and governance, oversee audit planning and execution, mentor management, report audit findings, and embed continuous improvement and assurance quality aligned to Government Internal Audit Standards.

Lead the magnets engineering team as Technical Authority for STEP magnets, driving magnet design (including remountable joints), prioritising technical risks, delivering technology demonstrations, managing cross-functional interfaces and supply chain development, and developing staff and programme-level strategy to mature design and reduce risk toward prototype delivery.
