The Automation Engineer develops and implements control systems for water treatment, programming PLC and SCADA applications, and ensuring system performance through testing and troubleshooting.

Own and administer the company-wide safety program across fleet, field, warehouse, and shop operations. Lead incident investigations, root-cause analysis, corrective actions, injury management, return-to-work programs, audits, hazard assessments, training, and high-hazard safety practices. Support DOT and fleet safety, acquisition integration, reporting of TRIR/DART metrics, and field implementation across multiple entities. This onsite Irving, Texas role requires approximately 50% travel across the United States.

Under direct supervision, develops PLC and OIT programs and control descriptions for water and wastewater processes. Interprets engineering drawings, conducts bench and panel testing, and supports onsite startup and troubleshooting. The role collaborates with engineers, customers, end users, and internal departments, analyzes existing programs for modifications, manages multiple projects, and provides operating instructions and status reports. Travel throughout California is approximately 30–40%.
