Provides specialized nursing care to endoscopy patients across all phases of their experience. Plans, delivers, and evaluates care independently while following physician orders, nursing standards, legal requirements, and facility policies. Administers IV conscious sedation after completing required airway management and sedation training. Requires an active Georgia RN license, nursing education, BLS certification, and ability to work under stress and perform extended standing, walking, lifting, and patient-care activities.

Assists with front-office clinic operations, including patient check-in, payment collection, scheduling, referrals, records management, patient communications, and insurance-related documentation. Maintains accurate patient information, supports patient flow, protects HIPAA confidentiality, and performs cross-trained practice functions such as check-out, phone triage, pre-certification, and medical records. Reports to the Clinic or Practice Manager.

Accession and label pathology specimens, prepare cassettes and slides, maintain grossing logs, manage specimen records and supplies, perform equipment upkeep and quality checks, respond to physician and endoscopy center requests, and follow CLIA, OSHA, safety, infection-control, and quality-assurance requirements.
