Sells fertilizer, crop nutrition, crop protection products, seed, and seed treatments to growers. Provides agronomic recommendations, scouts fields for pests and diseases, develops customer relationships, conducts prospecting and cold calls, meets sales goals, reports market and competitive information, supports credit policies, and uses agricultural technology tools. Requires agronomy expertise, outside sales experience, strong communication skills, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel.

Leads mill operations and employees while mixing feed, operating control systems and equipment, receiving ingredients, managing labor and trucks, supporting inventory, and maintaining facility quality and safety standards. Performs inspections, housekeeping, maintenance, troubleshooting, improvement recommendations, and ensures feed complies with company, state, and federal requirements. Regularly handles heavy bags, operates forklifts, works around machinery and dust, and may work at heights or in confined spaces.

Operate feed manufacturing equipment; mix, process, route, and load livestock feed; record production and FDA data in Excel; assist with scheduling, inventory control, equipment maintenance, truck loading, quality control, housekeeping, and customer service. The role requires safe work practices, physical capability, teamwork, and willingness to work in dusty and variable weather conditions.
