Candidates need deep Ethereum Virtual Machine knowledge and extensive experience delivering production smart contract systems.

Build and ship well-tested production software across backend, frontend, smart contracts, infrastructure, security, and data teams. Engineers own problems end to end, from requirements and design through release and operations, while collaborating with a senior team in person at the New York headquarters. The role values strong technical fundamentals, demonstrated engineering excellence, and enthusiasm for crypto and DeFi. Prior crypto experience is helpful but not required.

Join Uniswap Labs’ new-graduate engineering cohort, building and shipping tested production code across web applications, backend services, infrastructure, and potentially smart contracts. Engineers work across the stack, pair with senior mentors, participate in code reviews, and own real product work. Candidates need strong computer science fundamentals, evidence of building through internships or projects, enthusiasm for crypto and DeFi, and availability to work onsite in New York City five days per week.

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and shared services. Write tested code, review peers’ work, provide technical leadership, drive organization-wide engineering initiatives, and improve developer productivity and system reliability through automation and best practices. The role requires building highly available cloud production systems from the ground up, with emphasis on infrastructure, AWS architecture, debugging, and scalable system design.

Build and maintain large-scale, highly available backend systems for financial products. Write and review tested code, collaborate cross-functionally, lead end-to-end technical execution, guide architectural decisions, drive strategic engineering initiatives, mentor junior engineers, and support system design, debugging, testing, releases, and operational monitoring.

Lead architecture and end-to-end delivery of large-scale backend systems. Design resilient, reliable, scalable services; write and review well-tested code; guide complex technical decisions; mentor engineers; and drive strategic initiatives across engineering teams. The role focuses on cloud architecture, distributed systems, performance, technical excellence, and building new systems for crypto and DeFi products.

Lead Uniswap’s institutional business strategy, growth, partnerships, and go-to-market initiatives. Develop relationships with banks, asset managers, funds, fintechs, and other financial institutions; source and close strategic partnerships; identify institutional use cases and adoption opportunities; and translate market insights into product and corporate strategy. Coordinate complex initiatives across Product, Engineering, Legal, Policy, Marketing, and Finance while representing Uniswap with senior industry executives.

Own and evolve shared frontend infrastructure across web and mobile, including design systems, UI libraries, data layers, notifications, backend-for-frontend services, release automation, CI/CD, QA tooling, and performance improvements. Build AI-powered developer tools, lead large-scale migrations, contribute to product engineering, deliver high-quality tested code, document architecture, review code, and mentor engineers across teams.

Lead brand design strategy and end-to-end creative projects across social campaigns, brand systems, microsites, physical installations, and presentations. Develop Uniswap’s visual language, guide creative direction, mentor designers, conduct design reviews, and integrate generative AI into workflows. Collaborate cross-functionally, manage contractors and agencies, and create designs that communicate complex ideas while supporting brand and business goals.
