Conduct laboratory and field-based plant genetics research following established protocols; organize and manage data; present findings to scientific and lay audiences; assist with manuscript preparation; collaborate with lab members and faculty on NSF-DBT synthetic biology and other grant-funded projects.

Lead AS2 research on accelerated mineral carbonation for soil stabilization, supervise students, perform lab and field testing and demonstrations, analyze data, publish results, and teach one undergraduate and one graduate geotechnical course per year while pursuing external funding and collaborations.

Evaluate domestic and foreign transcripts, determine course equivalencies, process and record transfer credit evaluations in the student information system, verify transcript authenticity and accreditation, and advise campus community on transfer policies.
