Monitor and investigate security alerts, triage incidents, support incident response and vulnerability management, analyze logs across enterprise environments, tune detection rules, coordinate with MDR providers, maintain investigation records, develop cybersecurity metrics, and improve security workflows through automation and emerging technologies.

Manage cybersecurity governance, risk, and compliance activities across a university system. Maintain risk registers, POA&Ms, controls, policies, exceptions, and audit evidence; conduct vendor and solution risk reviews; coordinate remediation; develop metrics and executive reports; and lead security awareness, phishing simulation, training, and outreach programs. Apply cybersecurity frameworks and regulatory requirements while using AI and automation to improve workflows and reporting.

Provides technical and operational support for campus card and cellular service systems, including applications, databases, hardware, access control, and mobile devices. Troubleshoots issues, creates reports and queries, supports installations and upgrades, monitors processes, and assists with technology implementations. The role also develops documentation and training materials, coordinates technical projects with IT teams and vendors, supports card office operations, and supervises student employees.
