Performs preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative neurophysiological monitoring. Sets up monitoring modalities and equipment, coordinates with reading physicians, anesthesia teams, surgeons, and OR staff, documents procedures, maintains supplies, and manages patient data using USMON. Requires competency in IONM, EEG, EMG, somatosensory and motor evoked potentials, plus the ability to adapt protocols in a high-risk surgical environment.

Provides flexible nursing support across hospital units as a trained health unit coordinator, patient transporter, and equipment technician. Assignments include supporting HUC staffing, transporting patients, responding to simultaneous emergency events, moving beds and equipment, assisting with safe patient handling discharges, and retrieving offsite laboratory specimens. The role requires substantial physical activity, cross-unit adaptability, communication, and collaboration with hospital departments, supervisors, patients, families, and external personnel.

Leads managed care, payer strategy, reimbursement performance, business development, employer relationships, and market growth for a health system. Oversees two direct reports, payer negotiations, complex healthcare contracts, financial analyses, business cases, strategic partnerships, and executive or Board presentations. Collaborates with clinical, financial, operational, marketing, legal, and physician leaders to advance organizational growth, revenue, market share, and strategic initiatives. Maintains relationships with payers, employers, providers, brokers, community organizations, and other business partners.
