Provide overnight hospital medicine care at Harrington Hospital on a 7-on, 7-off schedule. Responsibilities include caring for acute-care inpatients, collaborating with nursing and multidisciplinary teams, and delivering high-quality, patient-centered treatment. The role supports an open ICU, with intubation and central-line procedures preferred but not required, and uses Epic electronic medical records.

Reviews inpatient medical records to identify documentation gaps, validate clinical severity and mortality risk, and support accurate coding, reimbursement, and quality reporting. Collaborates with physicians, nurses, and other staff to improve documentation, conducts focused reviews, communicates clarification opportunities, and supports physician leaders with documentation projects. Requires Massachusetts RN licensure, clinical or related healthcare experience, knowledge of clinical documentation and ICD-10-CM codes, strong interpersonal skills, and proficiency with specialized data systems.
