Serve as the primary liaison between Japanese customers and international engineering teams on data and AI projects. Gather and translate customer requirements into actionable engineering tasks, manage project scope, schedules, and deliverables, lead customer meetings and status reviews, and coordinate risks and issue resolution. The role requires strong Japanese communication, a basic IT background, proactive prioritization, and collaboration with executives, stakeholders, architects, and engineers.

Design, implement, and maintain scalable batch and streaming data pipelines on Databricks using Spark and Delta Lake. Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, architects, and clients to deliver production-ready solutions supporting analytics, machine learning, and business intelligence. Optimize performance and processing costs while supporting data quality, governance, security, CI/CD, orchestration, and version control best practices. Share knowledge and mentor junior engineers in an international consulting environment.

Designs and maintains scalable Databricks data pipelines and batch or streaming workflows using Spark and Delta Lake. Collaborates with engineers, scientists, and architects to deliver production-ready data solutions, optimize processing performance and costs, and support data quality, governance, and security. The role also contributes to knowledge sharing and mentors junior engineers in an international, hybrid Tokyo-based environment.
