Manages software, software test, and firmware teams developing sonar and sonobuoy systems. Provides technical direction, defines product technology roadmaps, maintains development processes and environments, selects tools, supports bids and estimates, and recruits and develops engineering talent. The role oversees software design, coding, testing, integration, configuration, and build activities across multiple operating systems and shipboard environments.

Perform manual and automated software testing across Linux, virtualized, physical, and Docker-based environments. Develop test cases, execute functional, integration, and regression testing, document evidence, track and triage defects, and collaborate with developers and engineers. Help modernize test strategy, identify automation opportunities, write basic scripts, support automated test environments, review specifications, and maintain testing documentation and processes.

Principal Electrical Engineer leading the design, documentation, testing, and production support of advanced anti-submarine warfare receiver electronics. Responsibilities include digital and analog circuit design, FPGA and RF electronics development, requirements analysis, reliability estimation, design reviews, project estimates, technical documentation, laboratory debugging, and mentorship of junior engineers. The role collaborates with systems and project engineering teams and requires occasional travel of less than 10%.
