Leads systems engineering for complex defense and cybersecurity projects, owning requirements, architecture, technical solutions, lifecycle processes, reviews, risk, compliance, suppliers, and customer acceptance. Provides technical direction across hardware, firmware, and software disciplines; manages systems engineering teams; serves as design authority; supports bids, security compliance, recruitment, mentoring, and line management.

Designs, develops, verifies, and troubleshoots digital and analogue electronics, including complex multi-layer PCBs, processors, programmable devices, and power supplies. Performs simulations, prototypes designs, supports production testing and debugging, contributes to design reviews, and provides technical direction across projects. The role may lead projects and mentor junior engineers while ensuring adherence to hardware development, security, cost, and schedule requirements.

Develops and coordinates compliant technical documentation, CDRLs, user manuals, administrator guides, installation and configuration guides, release notes, and proposal responses for DoD and commercial stakeholders. The role translates complex engineering inputs into clear, consistent customer-facing content, manages documentation schedules and contributors, maintains source files and published deliverables, and supports RFQ, RFP, and RFI responses.
