Leads airline ground operations at Entebbe Hub and across the network, overseeing passenger processing, travel-document verification, ramp and aircraft turnaround, baggage tracing, cabin grooming, ground support equipment, disruption response, safety, compliance, suppliers, budgets, and staff performance. Ensures safe, secure, punctual, customer-focused operations aligned with aviation regulations, IOSA requirements, company procedures, and contracted ground-handling standards.

Leads Uganda Airlines’ commercial strategy and executive commercial functions, including revenue management, pricing, network planning, sales, distribution, digital commerce, marketing, public relations, partnerships, cargo, and logistics. Owns commercial budgets, revenue plans, governance, risk controls, stakeholder relationships, and cross-functional execution. Advises the CEO and Board on route economics, market opportunities, investments, and commercial performance while building a capable leadership team.

Leads independent internal audit, enterprise risk management, governance oversight, regulatory compliance assurance, fraud investigations, cybersecurity assurance, and Board-level reporting for an airline. Develops risk-based audit strategies, maintains risk registers, evaluates internal controls, monitors corrective actions, advises on strategic aviation initiatives, and leads audit and risk teams. Ensures alignment with aviation standards, corporate governance requirements, and applicable financial, procurement, tax, labor, privacy, and public finance regulations.

Provides executive leadership for airline customer services across cabin and ground operations, passenger handling, baggage, catering, lounges, service recovery, complaints and claims. Owns customer experience strategy, service standards, safety and regulatory compliance, disruption management, budgets, supplier performance, operational readiness and multi-location team leadership. Advises the CEO and Board while coordinating with regulators, airports, service providers and internal departments to deliver safe, consistent and commercially responsible passenger services.

Leads airline flight operations, aircraft maintenance, safety, quality, regulatory compliance, operational control, crew resources, emergency preparedness, budgets, and service-provider oversight. Serves as the UCAA-accepted Accountable Manager with authority to stop unsafe or non-compliant operations. Develops operational strategy, ensures airworthiness and effective Safety Management System implementation, manages audits and corrective actions, oversees disruptions and fleet performance, and represents the airline before regulators, airports, suppliers, and industry partners.

Leads the airline’s HR and people strategy, culture, talent acquisition, performance management, learning, succession planning, employee relations, compensation, and organizational development. Advises executive leadership, ensures labor and aviation compliance, and drives engagement, diversity, and retention. Also oversees administration, workplace infrastructure, facilities, vendor management, occupational health and safety, and aviation security governance, including risk mitigation and regulator relationships.

Leads Uganda Airlines’ corporate strategy, enterprise planning, performance evaluation, strategic investment portfolio, government and industry affairs, manpower planning, fleet strategy, and facilities planning. Advises the CEO and Board through evidence-based scenarios, business cases, risk analysis, and performance reporting. Coordinates integrated plans across departments, monitors strategic initiative delivery and benefits realization, supports governance and resilience, and develops a high-performing corporate planning team.
