Teams at UDig

Software Engineering Interns will develop, test, debug, refactor, and document software for live client engagements. They will work with modern development stacks, cloud platforms, DevOps tools, data models, integrations, code reviews, and pair programming while receiving mentorship from consultants and technical leaders. The internship requires full-time participation in an eight-week hybrid summer program based in Nashville or Richmond.

Supports technology consulting client engagements by tracking action items, risks, dependencies, and project status. Participates in Agile ceremonies, maintains project boards, assists with requirements gathering, drafts user stories and acceptance criteria, contributes to product roadmaps and resourcing views, and prepares client updates. The intern also researches emerging technologies and best practices while working full-time in a hybrid summer program.

Design intern contributing to live client engagements through wireframes, user flows, prototypes, high-fidelity mockups, user research, usability testing, and design-system work. The role partners with engineers and stakeholders, presents design rationale, incorporates feedback, and researches emerging technologies. Applicants must be enrolled in a relevant design degree program, have a user-centered portfolio, know Figma and core UI/UX principles, and work full-time for the eight-week hybrid summer program in Nashville or Richmond.
