Performs diagnostic imaging procedures including X-rays, CT scans, fluoroscopy, and routine radiographs. Prepares and positions patients, explains procedures, maintains equipment and safety protocols, documents records, assists physicians during exams and surgery, and collaborates with healthcare staff. The role also includes clinical instructor responsibilities for radiology affiliations.

Provides patient-centered nursing care under RN supervision, including administering medications and treatments, monitoring vital signs, assisting with procedures, educating patients and families, documenting medical records, and supervising patient care technicians. Requires an active Alabama LPN license and BLS certification, with ACLS or PALS potentially required by unit.

Processes, stocks, delivers, and inventories medical supplies and equipment. Maintains shelf stock, responds promptly to emergency supply requests, performs annual and cycle counts, enters patient charges, generates verification reports, and checks expiration dates on supply items.
