Perform production rendering operations: unload and wash trailers, monitor cookers, load trucks, maintain control room, perform PMs and basic mechanical/electrical maintenance, operate forklifts/skid-steers, and complete accurate paperwork while following safety procedures.

Manage leave of absence and short-term disability processes, review and approve various leave types, interface with third-party administrators, maintain LOA/STD data and payments, audit absence reports, partner with HR and Nursing on return-to-work, identify process improvements, and resolve absence cases via ServiceNow while meeting SLAs.

Provide first-level HR support onsite at Finney (2nd shift), handling ServiceNow cases, walk-ups, chat and phone. Update employee data, assist with LOA, monitor HR inboxes, escalate issues to Centers of Excellence or HR leadership, and help meet service-level KPIs. Create simple reports and support HR process improvements.
