Lead technical work packages in power‑electronics research for energy systems, coordinate project delivery and budgets, develop proposals and publications, design and test converters and prototypes (HIL/real‑time platforms), liaise with industry partners, supervise junior researchers, ensure quality, safety and compliance, and participate in outreach and education activities.

The Principal Scientist/Senior Researcher II will lead research in photonic-electronic integration, develop a research team, secure funding, and manage projects, while fostering collaboration and innovation in the field.

Fully funded PhD to design low-noise CMOS readout electronics and a 30-photodiode array ASIC for wearable interferometric NIR spectroscopy (iNIRS). Responsibilities include specifications, analog/mixed-signal ASIC design, tapeouts, benchtop demonstrator, and engagement with industry and outreach activities.
