The Principal Scientist/Senior Researcher II will lead research in photonic-electronic integration, develop a research team, secure funding, and manage projects, while fostering collaboration and innovation in the field.

Fully funded PhD to design low-noise CMOS readout electronics and a 30-photodiode array ASIC for wearable interferometric NIR spectroscopy (iNIRS). Responsibilities include specifications, analog/mixed-signal ASIC design, tapeouts, benchtop demonstrator, and engagement with industry and outreach activities.

Fully-funded 4-year PhD to design foundry-compatible photonic integrated circuits and pulsing schemes for FLIM-enabled single-use endoscopes. Work includes simulation, PIC design, experimental benchmarking of UV/violet pulsed laser architectures, and development of packaging-ready PICs, with cross-theme collaboration, industry engagement, and public outreach.
