Manage TWI Cert’s Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards. Lead audits of examining bodies, venues, and training organizations in the UK and internationally. Oversee UKAS accreditation, internal audits, complaints, appeals, misconduct cases, risk registers, and quality reporting. Lead and develop the Quality Team, advise stakeholders on compliance, oversee relevant marketing activities, and coordinate external health and safety audit requirements.

Supports daily front-of-house hospitality operations by preparing hot and cold beverages, serving food, cleaning after service, delivering refreshments to meeting rooms, and assisting with occasional kitchen duties. The role provides a welcoming, consistent experience for visitors and colleagues at the Granta Restaurant.

Provides technical consulting, research and development, production support, and client-facing project delivery for laser materials processing and related technologies. Responsibilities include developing laser joining, cutting, and surfacing solutions; solving production problems; preparing industrial and collaborative research proposals; supporting business development; managing projects to budget, schedule, and quality targets; and contributing to departmental strategy and technical reputation. Regular UK and international travel may be required.
