Tutor Intelligence Benefits Overview

Own customer deployments of Tutor robots across production sites. Serve as the primary technical partner, diagnose software, mechanical, and process issues, monitor fleet performance, and coordinate improvements with engineering. Build trusted relationships with operations, engineering, and maintenance teams, translate field insights into product feedback, and support expansion opportunities. The role combines hands-on robotics operations, technical troubleshooting, customer partnership, and on-site facility work.

Own safety-critical robotic arm control software, including motion limits, collision response, stopping behavior, control-loop monitoring, and real-time operation. Build hardware-in-the-loop test benches integrated with continuous integration, maintain safety evidence and stopping-time measurements, and document control designs. The role requires physical-system controls experience, strong C++ and Python skills, Linux real-time programming, physics and dynamics knowledge, mission-critical software experience, and hardware-in-the-loop testing expertise.

Design, build, and own production perception and monitoring systems that keep people safe around robots. Develop lidar and camera detection, tracking, and sensor-fusion pipelines; maintain safety-critical code; test failure modes using field data, scenarios, and hardware faults; and collaborate across product teams. Contribute to robot safety strategy, risk assessments, standards, and customer evidence.
