Design and optimize radial- and axial-flux electric machines from concept through production. Responsibilities include electromagnetic, thermal, and structural FEA; prototype builds; testing and validation; technical documentation; manufacturing and quality support; and collaboration with mechanical, controls, manufacturing, and product teams. The role also contributes to motor performance, efficiency, cost, cooling, materials, manufacturability, project planning, and customer market analysis.

Drive new customer acquisition and business development across North America, focusing on transportation customers in automotive, aerospace, robotics, and related markets. Responsibilities include identifying targets, converting prospects, managing complex negotiations, exceeding sales targets, building the pipeline, and collaborating with marketing, inside sales, and operations on regional campaigns.

Design and optimize radial- and axial-flux electric machines across electromagnetic, thermal, and structural domains. Perform FEA, interpret test data, support drawings, prototypes, testing, validation, manufacturing improvements, and technical documentation. Collaborate with mechanical, manufacturing, controls, quality, and product teams while contributing to project planning, supplier coordination, market analysis, and motor performance, cost, reliability, and manufacturability improvements.

Design, develop, simulate, and test motor-control algorithms for PMAC, induction, SynRM, and SRM motors used in vehicle applications. Build MATLAB/Simulink and Simscape models, develop embedded C/C++ software and Python tools, characterize motors, support validation and applications teams, and conduct high-voltage laboratory testing. The role also requires documenting designs, reviewing requirements, supporting safety and quality compliance, and researching high-performance control algorithms.

Provide technical expertise to customers and sales teams for electric motors, battery systems, and power electronics. Support product installation, configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, training, RFQs, and design reviews remotely and at global customer locations. Validate customized systems, resolve field issues with engineering teams, support installation and maintenance design activities, and identify customer insights and business opportunities. Domestic and international travel is required, sometimes with limited notice.

Develops and tests power electronics hardware for automotive and industrial electrification. Responsibilities include circuit design, analysis, simulation, documentation, debugging, type testing, PCB and schematic work, technician supervision, standards compliance, and product safety assurance. The engineer collaborates across disciplines and follows hardware quality processes. A degree or equivalent in Electrical and Electronics Engineering is required, though relevant experience may also be considered.

Lead clean-sheet mechanical design and development for rotating electrical machines, transmissions, drivetrains, pumps, fans, power electronics, and batteries. Own concept development, prototyping, mechanical analysis, simulation, validation, CAD modeling, drawings, and production support. Collaborate with manufacturing, testing, and suppliers; ensure quality and regulatory compliance; and mentor junior engineers.

Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of product test programs against international and customer standards. Assemble, troubleshoot, and test software, hardware, and mechanical products; design and maintain test equipment; improve test methods; document procedures and results; support engineering analysis and design reviews; and supervise technicians and junior engineers.
