The Staff Accountant manages key month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, including journal entries, lease accounting, balance sheet and bank reconciliations, audit schedules, and internal controls. The role applies US GAAP, supports process improvements and audits, and maintains company-wide lease records. It is an individual contributor position working primarily in the office with occasional extended hours.

Owns employee relations, HR compliance, leave administration, workers’ compensation claims, handbook and policy updates, job description maintenance, organizational changes, offboarding, and unemployment claims. Provides day-to-day coaching to managers and employees, supports investigations and return-to-work coordination, and assists recruiting during peak hiring periods. Requires strong judgment, organization, collaboration, and hands-on experience with FMLA, state leave, ADA accommodations, and workers’ compensation.

Leads sales and distribution across an assigned territory, builds and maintains business-partner relationships, secures new product distribution, executes pricing and promotions, manages inventory, uses data to drive sales plans, tracks performance, and administers point-of-sale materials and contingency funds.
