Principal Software Engineer responsible for defining architecture and technical strategy across large-scale healthcare data ingestion, processing, storage, serving, governance, and observability platforms. The role remains hands-on through critical designs, prototypes, code and design reviews, and production issue resolution. It also includes architecture governance, cross-team technical alignment, mentoring senior engineers, hiring and interview calibration, and influencing engineering and product leadership across geographies.

Own the architecture and roadmap for a large-scale data-processing platform or domain. Drive modernization, reliability, scalability, cost optimization, and data-quality improvements across teams. Influence engineering standards through design reviews, architecture documentation, and prototypes while remaining hands-on with critical code and debugging. Mentor senior engineers and improve group-wide design practices. The role requires deep distributed-systems expertise, cloud-native Azure experience, cross-team influence, and strong software engineering leadership.
