Teams at Truth Initiative

Truth Initiative offers paid semester internships (fall/spring/summer) across Marketing, Communications, Public Policy, HR, IT, and Research. Interns support research projects, development and partnerships, and policy analysis; perform literature searches, survey testing, event support, funder research, and policy research. Roles are hybrid, part-time during semesters (15–20 hrs/week) or full-time in summer, and provide professional experience in public health and tobacco control.

Manage development data, reporting, and CRM operations; lead project, campaign, and event management; develop dashboards, fundraising calendars, and processes; support prospect research, proposal preparation, and cross-functional coordination to optimize fundraising performance.

Support day-to-day communications operations: coordinate meetings, draft and edit external and internal content, manage review workflows, maintain media and spokesperson databases, update website content, distribute daily news bulletins, assist social media and performance tracking, and support cross-functional campaign execution.
