We’re unleashing the Bitcoin economy by leveraging Bitcoin layers, including Stacks. Our mission is to bring Bitcoin to a billion people through our products. We aim to transform the traditional workings of finance, business, and society by tapping into the properties that come with unlocking Bitcoin as a final settlement layer. Trust Machines is a mission-driven company, focused on building usability around Bitcoin layers. Achieving this mission means bringing together talent from all over the world, which is why we are a completely remote startup. A global, lean team (under 50!), we rely heavily on async collaboration, independent thinkers, and talent that is willing to find a way for themselves, the team, and our products. Our teammates have a high sense of agency and are empowered by our flexible work policy. Our shared company values connect us and uniquely define how we work. Our talented team of core developers and product leaders are some of the best in the Bitcoin ecosystem. Complemented by an operations team of experts/specialists in their fields (marketing / legal / etc.), many of our leaders have storied backgrounds working at leading companies in Web3 for over a decade. Our co-founders are industry veterans who have built on Bitcoin since 2013, our CEO co-created the Stacks Bitcoin Layer-2, and our co-founder is a leading computer scientist with broad industry experience, and a tenured full professor of Computer Science at Princeton University.
