Leads group sales strategy and market development for a hospitality resort, manages group sales segments, drives revenue goals, and supervises the sales team. Develops sales action plans, monitors competitive and financial data, manages budgets, recruits and trains staff, maintains client relationships, and represents the resort at market calls and industry events. Requires frequent travel, strong leadership, communication, organization, and knowledge of group, corporate, and leisure markets.

Manage the resort’s credit process by establishing and enforcing credit policies, reviewing credit applications and references, collecting delinquent accounts, maintaining collection records, processing write-offs and returned checks, and referring accounts for external collection. The role also supports billing resolution, conducts staff meetings, communicates with guests and management, and assists with finance activities as assigned.

Develops national and market-segment accounts for a hotel, soliciting and negotiating large group accommodations, meeting space, catering, contracts, and commissions. Maintains customer relationships, maximizes hotel revenue, prepares proposals and pricing, conducts site inspections, hosts guests, and participates in trade shows and industry events. Provides guidance to sales managers and training to administrative staff while supporting guest satisfaction and hotel operations.
