Coordinate WIC outreach and enrollment by reviewing EPIC schedules, identifying eligible children via WIC WISE, conducting face-to-face retention interventions, scheduling appointments, troubleshooting benefit issues, and performing WIC Nutrition Assistant II duties including enrollments, recertifications, and nutrition/breastfeeding education.

Coordinate and process medical referrals and prior authorizations using the EHR. Verify insurance eligibility, complete referral paperwork, schedule appointments, track status, communicate with patients and clinical staff, and ensure proper documentation and coding to facilitate timely specialty care.

The Program and Resource Specialist screens patients for eligibility in various healthcare programs and ensures they have financial resources for continued care, requiring strong communication and interpersonal skills.
