Lead the design, simulation, testing, and integration of lens, sensor, and imaging/laser systems. Perform optical modeling, develop test plans and alignment procedures, support manufacturing and troubleshooting, define acceptance criteria, and research emerging optical materials and technologies. Contribute to structural, thermal, mechanical, or systems engineering as needed.

Design and lead high-reliability electronics for space and aerospace imaging systems, including PCB/PCBA design, high-speed signal and low-voltage power work, reliability analyses (thermal derating, MTBF, radiation tolerance), compliance to MIL-STD standards, CMOS sensor integration, and FPGA/HDL contribution.

Lead design and development of camera, video-edge compute, and storage electronics. Create block diagrams, schematics, and PCB layouts; integrate high-speed interfaces; debug and test imaging systems; collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers; mentor junior engineers; ensure compliance with aerospace/military standards and deliver products to market.
