Teams at TRIUMF

Lead sensitivity studies and simulation development for the XLZD liquid xenon observatory, applying Monte Carlo and machine learning techniques for 0νββ searches. Support calibration and detector R&D at TRIUMF, produce technical reports and publications, present results, and mentor students within an international collaboration.

Manufacture, fabricate, and repair experimental components; independently set up, program, and operate CNC machines; develop/modify CNC programs (MasterCAM/Fusion 360); perform inspections and QA to tight tolerances; troubleshoot tooling and machine issues; collaborate with engineering/design teams; follow safety and quality procedures; mentor junior machinists and pursue ongoing professional development.

As a Control System Engineer, collaborate on designing and maintaining control systems; develop software, troubleshoot issues, and optimize instrumentation for experiments.
