The role requires production-scale software engineering experience focused on data and ML processes, expertise with Spark, Kafka, SQL, and a programming language such as Python, Scala, or Java, plus knowledge of databases, data modeling, and ML operations.

Develop extraction, transformation, and loading infrastructure using Spark, EMR, Kafka, and other big data technologies while optimizing production-scale data and machine learning pipelines.

Own and evolve Java-based real-time bidding services operating at internet scale across AWS regions. Design high-throughput, low-latency distributed systems for auctions, bidding, traffic shaping, and creative processing. Ensure reliability through testing, observability, and incident ownership. Use AI coding assistants, evaluate emerging AI/ML technologies, collaborate across global teams, and mentor engineers on Java, distributed systems, and responsible AI tooling.
