Teams at Trident Maritime Systems

Installs and assists with constructing marine vessel interiors, including bulkheads, ceilings, doors, windows, stairs, furniture, insulation, trim, flooring, carpeting, and electrical components. Reads blueprints, uses hand tools safely, applies caulking and adhesives, and works in confined spaces, at heights, and around shipyard hazards. This progression role advances through four skill classes based on experience and complexity.

Operate and set up manual and CNC machining equipment to produce precision components from drawings and blueprints. Create, edit, and optimize CNC programs; select tooling and machining parameters; inspect parts using precision measurement tools; perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot equipment, tooling, and programming issues. Maintain production documentation, follow safety procedures, and support fabrication of raw materials and welded assemblies.

Assists with manufacturing production planning and scheduling, including creating work packages, managing materials, monitoring workflow, and tracking work in progress. Coordinates with inventory, purchasing, and other departments to prevent shortages and disruptions. Supports compliance with safety, quality, customer, and budget standards while addressing production issues and maintaining timely output.
