Work occurs in shipyard environments involving scaffolding, confined spaces, loud noise, weather exposure, and physical lifting.

Reads blueprints, uses hand tools safely, applies caulking and adhesives, and works in confined spaces, at heights, and around shipyard hazards. This progression role advances through four skill classes based on experience and complexity.

Operate and set up manual and CNC machining equipment to produce precision components from drawings and blueprints. Create, edit, and optimize CNC programs; select tooling and machining parameters; inspect parts using precision measurement tools; perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot equipment, tooling, and programming issues. Maintain production documentation, follow safety procedures, and support fabrication of raw materials and welded assemblies.

Fabricate, fit, weld, assemble, inspect, and repair structural components from blueprints and raw materials. Operate hand and power tools, cutting equipment, grinders, and welding equipment while maintaining accurate records and following work-site safety requirements. Collaborate with other fitters on large projects and ensure components meet specified dimensions and quality standards.

Assists with manufacturing production planning and scheduling, including creating work packages, managing materials, monitoring workflow, and tracking work in progress. Coordinates with inventory, purchasing, and other departments to prevent shortages and disruptions. Supports compliance with safety, quality, customer, and budget standards while addressing production issues and maintaining timely output.

Designs, develops, tests, qualifies, and maintains electrical control systems and components for marine products and machinery. Responsibilities include requirements analysis, detailed electrical design, technical drawings, standards compliance, cost and schedule estimation, testing, data analysis, documentation, client and contractor coordination, and product handover. The role supports multidisciplinary engineering projects and requires flexibility for overtime, U.S. citizenship, and drug screening.

Supports bilingual English-Spanish HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, payroll, HRIS recordkeeping, compliance, training, performance management, and employee engagement. Coordinates background checks, travel, training programs, attendance records, and driver compliance. Requires strong knowledge of HR policies and employment laws, ADP payroll experience, benefits administration expertise, and the ability to support a diverse manufacturing workforce.

Provides financial oversight for manufacturing projects and assigned site operations. Responsibilities include budgeting, forecasting, cost accounting, variance analysis, monthly close, schedule and milestone tracking, KPI reporting, change management, risk monitoring, compliance documentation, and cross-functional collaboration with operations, engineering, supply chain, and finance teams.

The Safety Technician enforces OSHA-compliant safety programs across shipyard facilities, vessels, buildings, and grounds. Responsibilities include conducting inspections and safety walk-throughs, identifying hazards, training employees, enforcing PPE use, investigating accidents and near misses, documenting reports, coordinating corrective actions, and supporting return-to-work programs. The role also maintains safety meeting records, monitors regulatory changes, and coordinates with production, HR, subcontractors, and shipyard safety personnel.

Designs, develops, integrates, and supports marine automation and control systems. Responsibilities include electrical schematics, PLC and HMI/SCADA programming, industrial network configuration, component selection, technical documentation, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and compliance with maritime standards. The role supports FAT, SAT, dock and sea trials and collaborates with customers, shipyards, vendors, and cross-functional teams.

Operates, sets up, programs, and troubleshoots CNC and manual mills, lathes, grinders, and related equipment. Responsibilities range from loading parts and basic measurement to complex programming, fixture design, process optimization, first-article inspection, root-cause analysis, and mentoring. Requires blueprint and technical specification interpretation, precision measurement, safety adherence, and experience with machining materials and tooling. The second-shift role involves 40+ hours weekly, regular overtime, and occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.

Supports financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, monthly close, variance analysis, cash forecasting, KPI reporting, and working capital analysis. Prepares executive review materials, maintains financial models and dashboards, supports costing and rate reviews, and partners with operations, supply chain, accounting, and leadership on process improvements and financial performance. The role also contributes to data governance, standardized reporting, and informed decision-making across business segments.

Creates engineering designs, CAD drawings, BIM models, layouts, specifications, estimates, and documentation for naval shipbuilding projects. Reviews drawings for accuracy and compliance with design requirements, safety standards, military specifications, and maritime regulations. Develops documentation packages, validates technical designs, and oversees or trains junior drafting staff. Requires shipbuilding experience and knowledge of naval architecture, marine systems, and shipboard habitability requirements.

Operates expanders, presses, welders, hydraulic jacks, and related tooling to size and shape metal fittings. Reads job prints and routers, selects dies, measures parts to specification, verifies materials and tolerances, maintains product traceability, identifies flaws, and ensures proper handoff between production stages. Performs lift truck inspections, supports helpers and other departments, maintains a safe work area, and reports production issues.

Analyzes and improves cross-functional business processes, documenting current practices, identifying optimization opportunities, conducting data analysis, and supporting standardized systems and workflows. The role troubleshoots business tools, develops training materials, supports change management, and assists senior leadership with requirements gathering, gap analysis, project plans, deliverables, and budgets.

Leads end-to-end business transformation projects, including planning, execution, risk management, stakeholder engagement, requirements gathering, process mapping, communications, testing, and implementation. Develops executive-ready presentations and process documentation, facilitates cross-functional workshops, translates operational needs for IT and vendors, supports change management, and reports project status to leadership.
