Leads and develops a mechanical engineering team delivering spacecraft electronics assemblies and spaceflight hardware. Provides technical oversight across design, analysis, testing, qualification, production transition, design reviews, and failure investigations. Manages engineering resources, budgets, schedules, risks, and cross-functional collaboration while ensuring aerospace compliance and product quality. Supports customer engagements and proposals, drives process improvements, and mentors engineering talent.

Senior technical leader responsible for architecting and guiding embedded hardware for space and defense systems, covering requirements, high-speed mixed-signal PCB design, FPGA and microprocessor development, integration, test, peer reviews, customer/vendor interface, cost account management, and technology roadmap support.

Leads the mechanical engineering discipline and serves as Cognizant Mechanical Engineer and design authority for space hardware. Oversees mechanical designs, structural and thermal analyses, drawing approvals, environmental testing, engineering standards, design reviews, and process improvement. Manages staffing, hiring, performance, career development, capacity planning, and technical strategy while partnering with program and executive leadership across DoD, intelligence, and civil space programs.
