Performs waived, moderate, and high-complexity clinical laboratory testing supporting disease diagnosis and treatment. Operates, maintains, and troubleshoots laboratory equipment; performs quality control and quality assurance activities; documents results and corrective actions; supports regulatory inspections, inventory, staff training, specimen collection, and point-of-care testing oversight.

Performs clinical laboratory support across one or more modalities, including patient check-in, order entry, phlebotomy, specimen processing, sample testing, equipment support, technical procedures, inventory management, documentation, and training assistance. Provides professional patient and client service, maintains confidentiality, supports on-call and coverage requirements, and follows laboratory safety, quality control, and specimen-handling procedures.

Leads clinical laboratory operations by performing complex tests, coordinating workflow across shifts, supporting staffing, training employees, overseeing equipment quality control, resolving technical issues, preparing for inspections, and assisting with policies and procedures. Collaborates with pathologists, supervisors, managers, and other departments to maintain accurate, efficient, and high-quality patient care services.
