Performs moderate- and high-complexity clinical laboratory testing, documents and evaluates patient results, maintains and troubleshoots laboratory equipment, and monitors quality control and assurance activities. May support regulatory inspections, inventory management, staff training, specimen collection, and waived point-of-care testing implementation and oversight.

Performs waived, moderate, and high-complexity clinical laboratory testing for disease diagnosis and treatment. Operates, maintains, and troubleshoots laboratory equipment; evaluates quality control results; documents testing and corrective actions; supports regulatory inspections, inventory, training, specimen collection, and point-of-care testing oversight, including validation, staff education, quality review, and IT connectivity troubleshooting.

Provides first-level customer service by phone, email, and written communication to patients, physicians, providers, and internal customers. Resolves inquiries accurately and promptly, escalates complex issues, follows department policies, meets quality and performance metrics, and maintains a professional, empathetic demeanor. The role requires onsite training for 8–12 weeks before potential remote work, along with schedule flexibility for weekends, holidays, on-call shifts, and overtime.
