Administer weekly driver payroll, index trip sheets, maintain payroll files, manage employee benefits and insurance portals, and prepare payroll-related spreadsheets and reports. Provide phone and administrative support to drivers and assist with Operations Department requests. The role requires transportation or logistics experience, HR knowledge, strong communication and analytical skills, attention to detail, and familiarity with AS400, Paylocity, Excel, and insurance systems.

Supports the Safety Department by conducting driver vehicle and credential inspections, maintaining violation records, performing shop inspections, administering training and counseling, leading new-hire orientations, and coordinating random drug and alcohol testing. Ensures compliance with company policies, transportation regulations, hours-of-service requirements, and other applicable laws while assisting with continuous improvement and departmental activities.
