Trexquant Investment Benefits Overview

Lead systematic trading operations across global markets, ensuring reliable trading systems, execution processes, monitoring, controls, and operational infrastructure. Automate workflows, reduce costs, manage broker and custodian relationships, and coordinate with research, technology, risk, compliance, and finance teams. Oversee trade lifecycle activities, settlement, connectivity, transaction costs, and execution quality while scaling operations across asset classes.

Build and maintain scalable data infrastructure for quantitative research, including ingestion, normalization, validation, storage, and lifecycle management of market, reference, tick, and alternative datasets. Develop Python and SQL ETL workflows across multiple asset classes, improve data quality, and create monitoring and automation tools. Collaborate with quantitative researchers, data architects, and infrastructure teams to onboard vendors and deliver reliable research-ready data.

Conduct quantitative research for systematic investment strategies by exploring financial datasets, implementing machine learning and academic research, engineering predictive features, and applying models to alpha discovery and portfolio construction. The internship is full-time and on-site in Beijing from July through September 2027, with potential conversion to a full-time role.
