Leads complex EICA engineering projects, designing systems, components, specifications, drawings, and technical documentation. Oversees scopes, schedules, budgets, risks, quality, compliance, and sustainability. Supervises and mentors engineering staff, provides technical guidance, resolves challenging design issues, supports project leadership, and communicates with clients, partners, and stakeholders. The role also contributes to change management and commercial impact assessments across project delivery.

Inspect, test, and verify control panels, MCCs, and automation systems before dispatch. Perform visual, mechanical, electrical, insulation resistance, continuity, polarity, functional, and operational testing. Maintain traceability and compliance records, support FATs and audits, identify non-conformances, assist with fault-finding and rectification, and ensure assemblies meet BS EN 61439-2, client specifications, safety requirements, and internal quality procedures.

Coordinates multidisciplinary design teams and resources across water, wastewater, infrastructure, and energy projects. The role manages design deliverables, programmes, interfaces, safety and design reviews, client communications, subcontractor coordination, design changes, risk assessments, and quality improvements. It requires strong engineering knowledge, commercial awareness, communication skills, BIM and digital delivery experience, and the ability to travel to remote project sites occasionally.
