Participates in a rotational actuarial development program, compiling and analyzing data, preparing actuarial schedules, running pricing and reserving models, documenting calculations, and supporting product development and risk-management decisions. The role requires progress toward Society of Actuaries exams and involves communicating analytical findings across teams. Participants work in a hybrid Cedar Rapids setting and receive exam support, paid study time, and compensation increases after successful exams.

Researches complex tax issues, interprets tax laws and accounting principles, and prepares or reviews federal, state, and local tax returns, provisions, investment taxation workpapers, and reports. Drafts technical memoranda, identifies solutions, leads projects, recognizes unusual tax situations, and coaches or directs staff. Works independently in a deadline-driven environment with minimal to occasional travel.

Leads retirement product strategy, market and competitive analysis, portfolio management, innovation, product development, profitability assessment, and go-to-market planning. Builds business cases, prioritizes opportunities, guides cross-functional teams, partners with distributors and vendors, and presents product and investment recommendations to senior leadership. Requires deep retirement industry expertise and strong analytical, strategic, communication, and leadership skills.
